About a year ago, I ordered “Hoodia” capsules. “The magic weight loss pill.” What a scam!! I receive a bottle every month and have returned 3 so far and continue to receive them every month. I have written Generic pills to this phony company and told them I no longer want this product. I still continue to receive it every month and am charged for it. Where do I go now????

First, check your contract to be sure you didn’t agree to a minimum amount to purchase.
If you didn’t, save copies of your cancellation letters, contact your credit card company to let them know you no longer authorize the billing, and contact your department of consumer affairs.
Sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately, your situation isn’t uncommon. What happened was when you signed up for that first bottle (I suspect you probably were given a free trial of some kind), you were also enrolled in an autoship program.
These hoodia autoship programs can be nearly impossible to cancel out of when they are done by dishonest companies. Assuming you have tried to cancel from these shipments and nothing you do works, the only thing you can do at this point is contact your credit card company. You’ll have to explain the situation to them and request that they deny all future charges from that company. They will usually take the existing charges off your bill as well.
I cover the hoodia industry extensively and would appreciate it if you could contact me via my website and let me know what company is doing this to you – and what you ordered initially to get roped into this program. I’d like to give my visitors a heads up on this company so they don’t get scammed. I’ve provided a link below to my website where you can contact me if you don’t mind.
Thanks,
Travis
